Sourcetree 2.0.5.7 on Mac OS 10.9.5 not showing uncommitted changes

Lisa Snider November 25, 2015

I'm using SourceTree 2.0.5.7 on a Mac 10.9.5 and I can't seem to see any uncommitted changes even when running 'git status' in my terminal shows modified files. Suggestions and fixes are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your prompt reply, Renato.

I realized I had set this repo up earlier by cloning the repo from GitHub, so I deleted the bookmark, and used my local copy, which as far as I can tell, still tracks the origin branches.

Thanks again,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

If even on terminal git status doesn't returns nothing, this might be related to the Git. What Git Version are you running and is this embedded or System Git? Did you tried to change upgrade the version of Git to version 2.6.x or using the embedded version?

You can switch the Git versions going to SourceTree Menu -> Preferences -> Git.

If you find this answer useful, I would kindly ask you to accept it so the same will be visible to others who might be facing the same issue you have inquired.

Cheers,
