SourceTree supporting Windows 8/8.1 ?

Oliver THEBAULT June 17, 2014

Hello,

I just wanted to say that SourceTree is a great tool. I'm using it on Windows 8.1 and it works almost perfectly.

The only bug, I've noticed, happens when I use the Fetch command (I disabled the automatic fetch option, because of this bug)... It often finishes with a "Blue Screen of Death" (ERROR: 90% of the time -> BAD_POOL_HEADER / 10% of the time -> something about DRIVER)... Then when I reboot my computer, the git objects that were fetched are corrupted.

Is this possible that you try to fix this issue ? Then you could say "Sourcetree supports Windows 8!".

Thank you very much for providing such great tools!

There have been a few reports in the past of SourceTree crashes on Windows caused by a particular graphics card driver. The symptoms are a little different (SourceTree crashes, not the OS), but it would be worth checking out.

If that doesn't work, go to support.atlassian.comand Atlassian employees should be able to request and analyze log files and other information.
