SourceTree do not show submodule commit

Markus Bischof March 26, 2015

After installing SourceTree on a new computer I noticed, that the commit of a submodule is no longer showed after the name of the submodule in square brackets.

Is there a setting I'm missing?

There is no setting for this, but if you double-click the name of the submodule, it opens that and you can see which commit is checked out.

Really? So this was dropped in an update? Because on my other Mac I can see the checked out commit directly in the submodules tree view - wich is very handy from my point of view.
