SourceTree crashes on startup

Steve Curtis October 3, 2016

SourceTree is crashing on startup. I've tried unistalling, removing the folders at %localappdata%\Atlassian and then installing 1.9.6.1 again.

In the windows event log I have the following:

Application: SourceTree.exe

Framework Version: v4.0.30319

Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Exception Info: System.InvalidOperationException

   at System.Windows.Application.set_ShutdownMode(System.Windows.ShutdownMode)

Exception Info: System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException

   at System.Windows.Markup.XamlReader.RewrapException(System.Exception, System.Xaml.IXamlLineInfo, System.Uri)

   at System.Windows.Markup.WpfXamlLoader.Load(System.Xaml.XamlReader, System.Xaml.IXamlObjectWriterFactory, Boolean, System.Object, System.Xaml.XamlObjectWriterSettings, System.Uri)

   at System.Windows.Markup.WpfXamlLoader.LoadBaml(System.Xaml.XamlReader, Boolean, System.Object, System.Xaml.Permissions.XamlAccessLevel, System.Uri)

   at System.Windows.Markup.XamlReader.LoadBaml(System.IO.Stream, System.Windows.Markup.ParserContext, System.Object, Boolean)

   at SourceTree.App.Main()

I don't have an answer for this, but deleting my Atlassian folder helped with my problem, so thanks
