SourceTree: bookmark submodule

Pavel Punsky February 15, 2016

In version 1.7 and below it was possible to create a bookmark to submodule and use it as if it was a regular git repo.

In 1.8 even if you create a bookmark - when trying to use it ST gives you an error that it could not find it.

Is it something wrong with my installation or this is the intent?

There is no mention of this change in release notes...

We have the same issue here and the submodules are not working anymore.

I had the same problem with v1.8.1 on Win7. I work all day on a submodule that is delivered to multiple projects so I REALLY used this functionality a lot.

+1

Double clicking submodules works but I get the same error as Pavel when trying to use a bookmark.

Using Sourcetree 1.8.1 on Win7.
