SourceTree Git show the wrong graph

Will Huang January 3, 2014

I have a sample git repository that can reproduce this problem. Please follow the steps to reproduce:

  1. git clone https://github.com/doggy8088/SourceTree_Odd_Graph_Demo
  2. git checkout branch1
  3. Use SourceTree to add this working copy and see the graph

Then you'll see the wrong graph on SourceTree. See below, the master branch graph are totally wrong. I don't know why. It looks like a bug on SourceTree. I don't see any graph like this from gitk or TortoiseGit.

Hi, did you try switching to Ancestor Order view instead of Date Order view?

Dear Sumali, I tried. It works. Thank you!
