I'm running Win 10 and SourceTree 2.4.8. I can login through https://id.atlassian.com, but when login in with SourceTree, it hangs. There's no related issues in the event viewer.

I've managed to solve the issue by copying the file accounts.json (AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree) from another computer I have with SourceTree installed.
Took the tip from the question "SourceTree 2.4.8 Offline Installation", in which it is suggested to install an older version of SourceTree just to create the accounts.json file.

Hi Eduardo, can you check if you're on the latest version of Internet Explorer? Sourcetree relies on it for the authentication part, and we've seen it causing this issue before.

I have the exact same issue. I have an active Atlassian account. I am trying to install SourceTree for the first time on my Windows 10 Pro machine. It is patched to the latest version. Internet Explorer is also patched to the latest version. I can log into the https://id.atlassian.com website with IE, Edge, and Chrome without issue. I have also tried clearing the c:\users\<username>\AppData\local\SourceTree folder, as mentioned in other posts, and have no success.
What else can be done? I would like to start using SourceTree.

Hi @Brian Whelan! So what happens in your case? Do you get a blank screen? An error message?
