SourceTree 2.0.4 not showing uncommitted changes in Yosemite unless restarted

leoramirez January 9, 2015

Hi,

I updated to yosemite for some time now and while using SourceTree, even if I save in my text editor, I don't see any uncommitted changes. After restarting SourceTree, however, I see the changes. Any ideas why this can be?

Thanks in advance,

LEo

On your 'General' tab of your SourceTree preferences there's a checkbox named "Refresh automatically when file changes". If this is turned off then you won't see updates to files in SourceTree.

In addition to this, in your repository settings on the 'Advanced' tab there's a misc setting at the bottom named 'Automatically refresh' which you'll need to ensure is on, also.

Cheers
