I updated several files in my repository and wanted to go back to an earlier commit to check something. I opened SourceTree and clicked the Shelve button. I was prompted with a dialog box asking me for a name. After putting in a name, the following command was run:
hg shelve -y --git --force SomeName patch SomeName shelved Completed successfully
My files are seemingly gone.
