Selecting a default Pull branch

Since I created a new branch in my repo, when I select pull, I no longer get a default branch selected. This has also caused the number of updates shown in pull and push buttons to not show up.

Does anyone have a way to fix this?

You may have accidentally changed your tracking branch setup - to change this, right-click on your local branch in the sidebar, select 'Track Remote Branch' and then pick the branch you want to pull by default.
