Release branch create v edit permission.

Is it possible to enable a small group of individuals to create a release branch, but enable a larger group to edit this release branch? I can't see a way of doing this via Stash permissions.

If the branch permissions allow someone push to certain branches, they will also be able to create those branches. So the only way to do this is to

• restrict release/* to the small group
• restrict each individual release/xyz branch (after it is created) to the larger group

The drawback is that you need to do the second one for every new release branch.
