No option for "Registration" or "Import License" in menu bar

On Mac OS. After downloading SourceTree license file the page says:

"Within SourceTree select from the menu bar "SourceTree > Registration", click "Import License" to import the downloaded the license file."

There is no menu item for Registraion under SourceTree in the menu bar.

Hi Jamie,

WIth SourceTree all you need to do is login with a valid Atlassian account and you should be set.  Take a look at "Download your SourceTree license" link is broken on my.atlassian.com for more info:

When it comes to the latest SourceTree, you no longer have to manually download the license and install it into SourceTree.

All you have to do for using SourceTree is just login Atlassian Account once when you set up it instead.

Hi Branden,


What if I want to do it that way? Your documentation and your answer only suggests that I am not required to do it that way.

Right now, the login for  Sourcetree 2.6.3a for MacOS does not know what a properly formatted email address looks like, so I am unable to log in.
