After using the right-click context menu on branches, after canceling or doing an action, the whole UI becomes unclickable and the mac "error" sound rings with each attempt.
I'm having the same issue. I've been using the new update for a few days without issue, but this morning the UI becomes unclickable shortly after I commit any code.
