My Sourcetree is bugged, I have already tried to delete all the settings and it still does not solve

You developers spoil the software by creating one million files and records on the system, which are not deleted during uninstallation. Totally irritating. I'll go back using the default git. The idea of Sourcetree is great, but the application doesn' work.

Hi Leonardo, you can try doing a clean uninstall following the steps:

- Windows

  1. Wipe SourceTree preferences
  2. Uninstall SourceTree (if it shows on the App&Features list).
  3. Backup then delete the directory below before proceeding with next step
    • Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local and delete SourceTree & SourceTree-Settings folder
    • Navigate to C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Atlassian and delete all SourceTree Files/Folder.

- Mac

  1. Wipe SourceTree preferences
  2. Uninstall SourceTree.
  3. Delete the directory ~/Library/Application Support/SourceTree.

If you'd like to install it again, you can download it from our site.

Hope that helps!

Ana

I've tried all this, and it still did not help. I suggest that ALL configurations be stored inside the executable directory, to avoid those insolvable problems that will only happen with specific clients and will not have to tidy up without reinstalling the operating system.
