MacOS can't connect to GitHub

brambow May 23, 2017

SourceTree version: 2.5.1

Problem: Can't successfully connect to GitHub repositories via HTTPS or SSH

I am not using two-factor authentication.

Behavior: I can connect to my Github Account successfully (using HTTPS or SSH)

However, when I try to connect to remote repos, I get an error message like this:

Sometimes the error is 'Could not authorize request with the available token' and other times it is 'Bad credentials'.

Can you please try with version 2.5.2?

You can download the build from https://bitbucket.org/atlassianlabs/sourcetree-betas/downloads/OSX_Latest.zip

Also, you can delete all your keychain items for GitHub before adding it agian on SourceTree just to make sure there isn't some old token leading to the same issue again.

Thanks!
