[K characters at the end of each line in custom hook output

Delcoigne Renaud January 29, 2014

Hello all !

I got a bug in the output of an update hook after a push in a git repository with SourceTree.

As you can see in my screenshots, the "[K" characters are added to each line and empty lines are added randomly. (not really visible here)

When running the same script in a terminal, it's displayed without these extra characters.

The "[K" characters don't seem to correspond to anything ...

Has anyone ever encountered this bug ? It's not helping with the lisibility of the message ...

For information, I'm using SourceeTree on Windows (1.4 but I've always seen this bug), and the remote Git repository is on a Debian (UTF-8).

Thanks for your help !

Renaud.

I still have this error with only ascii chars and i am not sure what is causing it.

I have posted this question before.
