I would like to automatically create a new SourceTree repository when creating a new project using a Visual Studio template. I know I can use command line git to create the local repository, but I would like to allocate the repository within SourceTree, assign the repository to a grouping and configure the default remote... basically automating the work that the developer would be doing.
Is such a thing possible within SourceTree? If not, is there any way to do it 'behind the scenes', ie by manipulating the SourceTree configuration?
Thanks!
This blog post lists some features that can be run from the command line, but it doesn't look like any are what you're looking for: https://blog.sourcetreeapp.com/2014/01/29/sourcetree-for-windows-1-4-released/
