Is it possible to open a file log in SourceTree with the the command tools?

xgecko November 12, 2014

I'd like to be able to open a log of a file in SourceTree from the command line. Something like: `stree --log /path/to/my/file`

Is this currently possible? If not, is it something that may be added in the future?

You have these options:

  • Use the built-in log view
  • Use the git command from the command line
  • You can perhaps do what you want by creating a custom action for it in Tools\Options\Custom Actions.

Ah, you want to launch the sourcetree ui for a file's log view from the command line. Got it.

Why not just use the git commands?
