Is it possible to create pull request against private git server on EC2?

Vara Prasad December 5, 2017

I am able to connect sourcetree to my private git server hosted on Amazon EC2 and see all the branches etc. When I am trying to create a pull request it is saying

You don't have any remotes which have extended integration settings configured; you need to edit your remotes to add details such as the hosting type and base URL. Click the Settings button to open your remote list.

I have tried configuring Remote using the host type but it is not letting me configure Host Root URL.

Please let me know how I can create pull requests against our private git repository. BTW, we use JIRA for bug tracking, if it helps.

Hi

That feature only supports Bitbucket (Cloud), Bitbucket server or GitHub, since it needs to know the format of the URL to use to setup the PR.

Are you using Bitbucket Server or another host?
