Inconsistent "Finish Feature" behavior in deleting remote branch

Praveen Gavvala January 10, 2018

Hi, we have created a feature branch and used the Git-Flow -->"Finish Feature" functionality to commit changes from local SourceTree repository to remote GitHub repository with "Delete branch - After finishing" option but the behavior is inconsistent. For some users, it deletes the feature branch locally and retains the branch in remote GitHub repository but for others it deletes the branch in both local & remote. So is there any specific configuration or setting that is causing this inconsistent behavior? If so, can someone provide the details?

Brian - were  you able to review the information I have provided and come up with root cause / solution? If you need any other info to triage this further please let me know.
