How to change "auto push" to use tracked branch instead of origin?

Arne Claus May 16, 2016

Hey - I've got a repository with two remotes and branches tracking branches on these remotes like this

master -> origin/master
dev -> local/master

When I commit something to dev I get the option to automatically push to "origin/master" but not "local/master" as it should be (as this branch is tracking local, not origin). This is quite dangerous as I can easily forget to uncheck that option after working on master ...

Is there a way to fix this or is this a bug?

That's a great question, I've never actually worked with multiple remotes, but I also don't recall seeing any options that would change the behavior you're describing.

If nobody is able to provide a usable answer, you can post a bug report at jira.atlassian.com.
