How do I update Sourcetree 2.x for windows?

I have a sourcetree 1.9.10 and would like to update to the latest one 2.x.x but I am worried that if i do I will have to set everything up, all my repoos and branches, credentials. Is this the case ? or will I just get the new features and UI and everything will just magically work ?

Hi Karol! You'll get the new features and everything will keep working as before. As you're changing from 1.x to 2.x you'll need to uninstall the previous version first, then download the newest version from our website and install it.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

Best regards,

Ana

Ok but will the new verison know where all my repositories and branches are (locally)  and also all  the credentials setup ? or will i have to tell it all that information ?
