How do I edit the "Host URL" field for extended repository integration?

Brice Chidester March 26, 2014

I am trying to enable extended integration to a corporate GitHub instance where the URL is not http://www.github.com. Is it possible to edit the Host URL field to allow this?

I see that Stash extended integration does allow for the editing of the Host URL field, but GitHub, BitBucket, and "Unknown" do not appear to be editable. Is this a bug or intended functionality?

Asked (but not answered) here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/274075/how-do-you-change-the-host-root-url-in-repository-settings

Extended integration has to be custom designed pre host because it involves non-standard APIs. You should probably post a feature request at jira.atlassian.comto add GitHub Enterprise to extended integration. If you do so, post the link in an answer or comment here so others can vote it up.

Thanks! Turns out, there is an open feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-1034. I recommend everyone who's interested in this functionality vote for it.
