Hi,
I am currently creating a release which is based off of 'develop' branch using the gitflow way of doing things. i.e. Repository, Start Release.
Now I have my release branch but it contains everything from develop, I need to remove 1 feature/commit as it must NOT go to the release.
How is this possible?
I have used gitflow many times before but this is the first time I am a little confused as what to do with the regards to removing a feature from the release.
I presume it is possible? And what happens to the commit/feature i remove, will automatically go into the new release ?
Any ideas ?
Once you are in the Release branch, can you reverse the 'bad' commit?
It wont remove the bad commit, but will create a new commit reversing the 'bad' one.
That reversing commit will then get merged back into 'develop' after you complete the release so you would, presumably, need to reverse the reverse?
