Did SourceTree drop Mercurial support?

Ivan Mi June 20, 2013

At the page http://www.sourcetreeapp.com/ there is confusing information about SourceTree. The title says that it's "A free Git client for Windows or Mac" but below there it's said "use the full capability of Git and Mercurial in the SourceTree desktop app". I've downloaded the SourceTree app and I see that it does not have Mercurial functions. So do I understand right that they dropped Mercurial support?

Hi Ivan,

Mercurial support for Windows is coming in version 1.0 which is very soon. The wording was just to cover the Mac mainly - there's been some confusion around this sentence. Mercurial support has always been planned for the Windows version.

Look out for version 1.0 for Windows which will definitely include Mercurial support.

Hope that helps
