Delete or merge git history to get rid of old files

Hello, one of our developer accidentally added 750 mb of sound files to his commit and pushed this, some time ago. Now we want to delete all his 7500+ files, is there a way to delete the git history or something like that so that we can't make the proyect way lighter(without such files it's size is 30 mbs, with those files in the history it weights more than 20 times it's size!)

Thanks you!
