I am a sys admin that is reponsible for deploying to production using GIT processes. I am looking for ways to streamline the process and found sourcetree.
On my local Windows PC, I have cloned the two repos that exist on bitbucket.org.
What I would like to do is also set up a "remote live" for our production website.
From my Mac, if I do a "git remote -v", it shows
live <website name>:/var/git/.git
Live is a Linux server.
How do I configure sourcetree to add the live remote. My thought is that I would use Source tree to do the push and point to live for production deployments.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi
Open the repository in Sourcetree, then click the cog in the upper right to open Repository Settings, in there you can add a new remote.
