Can we use SourceTree in a private disconnected network?

matt werth May 6, 2015

Will SourceTree work without connectivity too the outside world?  Are we licensed/allowed to use it without registering each machine or user?

SourceTree needs to be registered by each user individually, but there is an option to import the licence from a file.

=> You can get your people to generate a licence for themselves on a computer with internet connectivity and then take that with them to the offline computers.

Hello Matt,

so far as i know SourceTree does not need a connection to the internet. (But I haven't tested it yet!)

About the license ... i would like you to take a look at this post "is sourcetree free?" or here in the SourceTree FAQ.
