Can't sign in on SourceTree Mac Application

Nick Makris October 13, 2017

When I go to try and install and sign in to my Atlasssian Support account, I am given an constant error saying "Please enter an email address" despite entering in an email and the proper email.

I am using the latest version of the program.

It is now 3 weeks since the ticket was initially opened and Atlasssian has still not commented since October 14th.

Anyone on any news on this in anyway shape or form?

Hi Nick,

Take a look at the Communities post Can't sign in when installing SourceTree and see if that helps.  Here are the steps to save a bit of time:

  • Check if you're able to access id.atlassian.com using the same credentials
  • Open Internet Explorer > go to the Advanced options tab and click on Reset your Internet Explorer Settings and check Delete personal settings.

This has worked for other users and hopefully it will work for you.  If not let us know.

Cheers,

Branden

Hi Branden,

Mac does not have internet explorer, nor doe the linked article have anything to do relating to my issue.

The title was "Mac Application," not Windows.

This did not get me anywhere near the right direction to a solution.

@somethingblue

I posted back on Sunday, is there any update on this? It is now Thursday.

I'm having this same issue. Would love a reply from the powers that be.
