Askpass wants to use your confidential information stored in "bitbucket.org" in your keychain.

Do you want to allow access to this item?

This only comes up when I use SourceTree, so I believe they go together - but I don't know. If that is true, then why doesn't it just say "SourceTree wants to use..."?

I'm a virophob, so I am looking here for answers.

I will gladly accept answers of in the flavor of "Always Allow", "Deny" or "Allow", but I would prefer a short explanation if you are willing and able.

Hi Zachary,

Yup, absolutely. Askpass is a tiny application that we've developed to communicate with Git/Hg for authentication, it basically just communicates for auth details as Git/Hg need it from the terminal, so if you ever see anything relating to Askpass just hit "Always Allow" otherwise you'll always get prompted for authentication through SourceTree.

Hope that helps.
