I use SourceTree to interact with GitHub repos.  I interacted (pushed) to a repo as recently 10/22/2016.  As of today, I can't do anything with SourceTree.  If I try to clone a repo, for example, I get a message shown below.  However, I notice that the directory "C:\Users\emorway\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\git_local\share\" doesn't even exist?  Liberal usage of google has led me to all sort of permutations of the "SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate" message, but I can't figure out how to resolve this.  

Can someone please help me figure out how to set up the templates I need to resume interacting with Git repos?  

I'm using windows 8 with the latest version of sourceTree (I uninstalled, restarted my machine, and reinstalled in hopes the certificates would populate themselves).

Another individual using sourceTree in my office has also starting getting this error related to SSL certificates.  Are there windows updates that can cause this issue?github.PNG
