how to set PAC proxy settings

musheer ahmad February 5, 2015

Hi, In our organization we are using pac network. When I open Source tree or Git Bash and checkout, it hangs and after some time gives 443 error.

I have the proxy settings with me, can you please let me know how to use them with Source tree to avoid this issue.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply Chin, it is resolved for me.

1- Open source tree and navigate to  Tools -> Options

2- Open 'Network' tab

3- Check radio button 'Use custom proxy settings', and configure server address and port number

4- Enable check box 'Add Proxy server configuration to Git / Mercurial'

5- Click ok, and restart source tree,

It should be working now.

Thank you,
