My name is Erica Moss, and I’m a community manager here at Atlassian.
Hopefully, you already know first-hand how awesome Atlassian Community events are. (If not, you should consider attending one virtually!)
These free, user-led meetups give community members the opportunity to connect, share, and learn with each other — virtually or in-person. As you may have noticed, it’s been a while since the SF Bay Area's last event, and this is due to the fact that we are in need of new leadership in this region.
But that’s where you come in!
We’re looking for Atlassian enthusiasts in the Bay Area to step up to the plate and become Community Leaders who host virtual (and eventually, in-person!) events — in exchange for their efforts, Leaders earn direct access to our internal teams, free vouchers for certification exams, access to Leader-only spaces, swag, and much more. We just ask that you host at least four events per year, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.
Note: Many of our other chapters have multiple Leaders to help share responsibilities, so that is certainly a possibility for the Bay Area, too!
