Artifact Download in Bamboo downloads the artifact to your working directory. If you artifact is not built in Bamboo, you can use any other techniques to move your artifact to the working directory.

It can be using a script task or using using remote SSH or Scp tasks. Doesn't matter as long as you can access the artifact.
