default 'java script' not executing , while using html url

hi,
we are using JIRA 5.2 version. our users are using html url example;
http://xxx.doamin.com/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa? selectedProjectId=10330.

problem : default 'java script' is not executing.

expected: based on 'project id' , some default 'java script' needs to execute and set some dynamic values to the respective fields on the form

There is no such thing as "default javascript". You've wedged something in somewhere and to help you debug it, we need to know where you've added it, what it's trying to do and probably see the actual script as well as the stuff you've surrounded it with.

thanks for quick reply. basically if users select '+ create issue' link. the default javascrit was executing and form values fetching dynamically based on the project id , as expected (we have some default 'java script'). but if users using html url , the default script is not executing. so if we want to execute default javascript. what are the changes we have to do. please guide me.

thanks in advance...

I don't think we can help you until you tell us the answers to the questions I just asked - where is your javascript? ("default javascript" is meaningless in terms of Jira and does tell us where it is). What does it say, and how have you implemented it?
