customizing email content in cloud service desk

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring email notifications

Anyone know if there is a way to customize or change the language or content in automated emails?

This widget could not be displayed.

Changing email content is still a matter of editing templates in the application.  ("Code" if you like, albeit non-compiled code).  You don't have access to edit the application code, so no, you can't change the content.
