how can we extend the SLA time which we will pre-define, on breaching an SLA by a notification to the users.
can we do this ?? if it is possible how ???please help me out

I could not understand your question. If you clarify we can try to help you.
If you need notification to users before breaching, there is SLA Notifiers that you can define as many as you want so that it notifies users, groups you defined.
