can't download Excel files that have plus signs in the file name from Confluence

Good afternoon,

We can't download spreadsheets that have plus signs in the file name. For example:

• details_of_financial_results_for_Jan+Feb+March_2012.xlsx

We've had this problem twice now with two different files.

The resolution is to remove all the plus signs, then re-attach the file.

I can't see anything on this as a bug, has anybody got any ideas why this happens?
