Im getting a compiler error indicating that source1.5 is no longer supported and needs to be on 1.6.  This is the same for the target

I went though the POM.xml and didn't even see any lines in there that had a source and target version so i dont even know where to look to try to get this upgraded to 1.6 or override it to 1.6.  Here is my error i got out when i ran the command atlas-run

In your pom.xml must be the following line:

          <plugin>

                <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>

                <configuration>

                    <source>1.6</source>

                    <target>1.6</target>

                </configuration>

            </plugin>

If you do not have it then add it, if you have it make sure that source and targe are 1.6 or higher

I was actually able to get it to work with your suggestion.  Tabs were my issue the second time around and once i fixed those, it worked like a charm.  Thank you very much for the help.

@Alexey MatveevIts not there. Please guide me where in 'pom.xml' should I add it. Thank you.

Alexey Matveev -cPrime- Community Leader Nov 01, 2017

In your pom.xml must be the following line:
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<source>1.6</source>
<target>1.6</target>
</configuration>
</plugin>
If you do not have it then add it, if you have it make sure that source and targe are 1.6 or higher
