Zendesk integration fails

Hi,

I read the instructions for Zendesk Integration, but get an error when trying to set this up.

This is the message:

Failed to establish connection to remote system

Authentication failed, please check your authentication details and try again.

Here I found a post around this specific issue with the comment to post an issue. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/34221/unable-to-create-a-connection-to-zendesk-authentication-failure

Can you help me out with this.

Hi,

The Zendesk Supportteam helped me out on this, the configuration of the mapping and the default assignee were not right

Hi,

This documentation from Zendesk site will give further information about the integration within JIRA. I'd strongly suggest you to have a good look on it and if you still have further issues get in touch with Zendesk Support.
