Will Sonar be added to the OnDemand Suite?

Will Sonar be added to the list of apps that are part of the list of available apps in the OnDemand suite? It's an open source application and would provide a significant amount of help with regards to code quality management, and it already integrates with several Atlassian products.

OnDemand is still taking off, so at the moment. all plugin additions have been put on hold. Our product manager for OnDemand has described the future plans better than I can:

We understand how important plugins are, and are committed to providing ways for Atlassian OnDemand subscribers to extend and integrate their instances. We are currently working on ways to provide add-ons independent of the current in-process plugin framework. In this way, we will provide hosted add-ons that are stable, secure, and can be developed and maintained by their contributors. As these efforts begin to yield results, updates will be provided on this page.

As soon as we're ready (later this year[early next year]), we will be reaching out to developers of plugins for which there are bundling requests directly with more information on what's coming and how they can participate.

Sonar would be another product in the stack rather than a plugin, if that makes sense.

Unfortunately, there is no news on any upcoming plugins for OnDemand. One thing to note (as Jim pointed out) with Sonar is that if it was added to OnDemand, we would likely need to host and test/maintain the application in addition to testing/maintaining/etc. the plugin, which makes it that much more prohibitive.
