Why did the comments get culled from the old forum?

marc raiser October 9, 2011

Using an old link to reference some great Jelly Script examples that were provided by commenters, now goes to this page.

https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/Jelly+Examples

There was valuable information in the comments section.

Could they maybe be ported to the Answers site? It would be very helpful.

Cheers

All the old comments are still available in the Archive area on the Atlassian Developers site (https://developer.atlassian.com/display/ARCHIVES/JIRA+Documentation+Archives ).

We channeled the interaction to Atlassian Answers and kept read-only documentation on the Developers site. The reason is that often the comments are very valuable but eventually it's not something that makes reading documentation/references any easier.

If there is something particular missing that you think should be mentioned on the Jelly Examples page I encourage you to let us know through the feedback section at the bottom of the page. Every page of the Developers site has a feedback feature. That way we intend to improve and complete the docs, rather then piling up comments. That's the rationale anyway.

Hope that helps.
