Its hard to say why its not working. To my knowledge we don't have widespread issues pertaining to Pathfinder not working so it could be a configuration issue.
For reference I am looking at the documentation:
The main caveat in installing is that IE isn't supported. Also ensure your OnDemand license is valid (a deactivated instance may still allow you access for a limited time).
Finally, were able to test that the installation was successful? In other words, are you seeing the Pathfinder tab or any indications that it is indeed enabled?
If you exhaust all your options go ahead and submit a support ticket at support.atlassian.com and someone will assist you.
