When will this be available to on premise users?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Collaborating on Files

I understand its all still in development. I'm curious to know if there is a road map or scheduled release date?

If by collaborating on files you mean inline comments inside of a document, it has already been available to Confluence Server (on-premise) users since version 5.7 (the linked documentation is for Server and not for Cloud).
