When will Atlassian Maven Plugin Suite (AMPS) advanced on Maven 3 build environment?

This way we could use all benefits of Maven v.3 vs v.2 on which current AMPS is based on.

I gues we are talking about different things. I was asking about official SDK Maven v3 build environment and not support thing (where some things still doesn't work).
But thanks for reply and I'll take that "isn't priority right now" for an answer.

I am currently running ATLAS SDK Version: 4.2.9

and it still say

Apache Maven 2.1.0 (r755702; 2009-03-18 20:10:27+0100)

when I run atlas-mvn -version or atlas-version.

Yes your right they are not included on their SDK but they are supported to build plugin with maven 3

check this post you may get more information on this
