Once a version has been released, it shouldn't show up as an option to be picked under the "Fix Version" drop down.

I stumbled across this today. Seems like I can still create new tickets for released versions. Are you planning to fix this? This brings massive problems if you have many versions...

Indeed it shows in different groups, 'Released' and 'Unreleased'. But in case you want to completely avoid seeing the vesion, you can 'Archive' it.

But if u archive then it will not even show up under the affects version list right ... this is not acceptable to our users. We just dont want to show this in the FixVersion list but continue to show in the affects verison list
