Unable to install rmsis client plugin and interface it with hosted Atlassian instance of Jira

Hello,

I am trying to install RMsis. Can you install RMSis on StraighterLine's hosted instance of Jira? I am unable to install it on the admin panel.

Alternatively, please advise on a client plug-in for the local workstation to connect to the hosted instance where RMSis is installed.

Hi Matt,

At this point of time, RMsis does not support OnDemand / Hosted version of JIRA.

In order to achieve the same, we will need to experiment with the Remote App Plugin (https://remoteapps.jira.com/wiki/display/ARA/Home); which seems to be still in Beta but is expected to be released soon.

As on date, there is no firm plan, but in all probability it will happen in Q4-2012.

Internally, this issue is tracked as RMI-956.

We, kind of lost momentum and lowered the priority after

• delays in release of Remote Apps Plugin
• not too many inqueries from customers

The estimate for integration with JIRA OnDemand is quite significant for us.

An RMsis version, capable of integrating with JIRA is not likely to be available within the next 2-3 quarters.

Whats's the latest with RMsis being available ondemand ? Is there an ondemand version for Jira ?

It's not available and you might find it easier to watch the issue Sanjay mentions than ask on old questions
