Unable to confirm nor add email addresses to new OnDemand created bitbucket account

I just converted my account to use the new bitbucket integration since Fisheye/SVN is being migrated away. I get the following message when logging into the account:

This account has an unconfirmed email address. If you haven't received a confirmation, visit the email page to resend it.

When I go to the email page I only see the following row:

pervasive@teams.bitbucket.org resend confirmation

When I try to add an email address I get the following error:

tech.admin@pervasive-health.com is not available.

Did something not work?

You'll need to change the email address on the Team account to something unique from your user account, then confirm. Bitbucket uses the email address on accounts to allow you to reset your password and match users to commits. As a team is technically an enhanced user, it has the same requirements.

May be it worth verifying all these steps first.
