Unable to Move Story in Scrum board

Hi Atlassian Support,

We are using GH version 6.0.8.

Some of our Scrum board users reported that they are not able to move a story from one state to other unless there is a subtask assigned to it. Need few clarifications

1) Is it a expected behavior of GH 6.0.8 that a Story with a subtask can only be moved to other state but not a Story without a subtask??

2) If a Story with a subtask can only be moved, we need to change that condition. How to do that?

This is a urgent requirement. kindly help us and hope to hear from you soon.

The issue is resolved. It's because of the condition at workflow we are not able to move the story.

Hi Venkat,

Hmm, as far as I know, you should be able to move the story from one state to another regardless of the presence of subtasks. Does this apply for all users, or only certain users?

Hmm..is there anything that links these users together? Perhaps a certain permission, or members of a certain group? Also, have there been any recent changes performed in your instance?

I think you might have to create a support ticket for this one.
