Trying to upgrade to new version of UPM using A newer version of the Universal Plugin Manager is available. Update now! message. I click on 'Update now' link and I get the message Problem accessing plugin file at https://marketplace.atlassian.com/download/plugins/com.atlassian.upm.atlassian-universal-plugin-manager-plugin/version/137720?from=upm.

Hi Vikas,

Can you download the file directly from the Marketplace? If so then you can upgrade the UPM manually by following the instructions in this document. I have just checked and I am able to download it from the Marketplace so hopefully this solution will work for you.

All the best,
John

If you are using UPM 2.7.8 or 2.7.9, you are probably facing the problem described in this KB:

UPM Self-Update fails when updating from UPM 2.7.8 or 2.7.9 to newer versions

Basically, you will need to manually upgrade your UPM plugin in JIRA.

Cheers,
Andre
